India Launches Space Rocket To Study Black Holes

The Indian Space Agency has launched a space rocket to study black holes, the BBC reported.
The spacecraft which was launched from Sriharikota spaceport has an observatory which will gather crucial information about the phenomenon of black holes.
The mission is only a second of its nature, with the last one launched two years ago by NASA.
The rocket is carrying a satellite called X-ray Polarimeter Satellite (XPoSat), which will study black holes in depth and enhance the understanding of the world’s scientific community.
Exciting Time Head
Indian Space Research Organisation chairperson said the space agency is waiting for an exciting time ahead.
The launch comes after a record milestone when ISRO successfully landed on the moon’s south pole in search of water.
The launch came at the cost of around $30 million and is expected to survive space for five years.
India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission came at the cost of just $75 million, $90 million less than production cost of Hollywood Sci-Fi movie Interstellar.
