China Targeting Critical Infrastructure

The FBI director revealed to the House Select Committee that China is already increasing its cyber attacks against the US.

The critical infrastructure includes water treatment plants, the electrical grid, transportation systems and other infrastructure used by Americans.

“And they don’t just hit our security and economy. They target our freedoms”, Wray told the committee.

China Has Been Doing It

It is not the first time that Chinese hackers are undermining American sovereignty as it has reported multiple times in recent years.

Mr. Wray complained that there “far too little public focus” on the problem as the issue has serious consequences for the American public.
